How to Get Clients on LinkedIn (Proven Method)

how to get clients on LinkedIn

Everyone tells you “LinkedIn is a great place to find clients”.

But it’s not working for you – and you can’t figure out why.

You’ve tried posting. You’ve tried sending DMs. You’ve spent hours commenting on posts.

But for some reason nobody’s biting.

Don’t worry. You’re not alone.

Here’s a fact:

→ 99% of people aren’t getting clients on LinkedIn

→ (…even if they post like they are)

But I’ve bagged 1 high-ticket client per month on LinkedIn this year. And I did it without:

  • Doing webinars
  • Sending sales messages
  • Spending hours engaging
  • Jumping on networking calls

Now I’m going to help you do the same – but giving you my step-by-step playbook:

1. Post unique content

LinkedIn is filled with generic content.

Most of it is BS. It’s rarely useful. Loads of it is clickbait.

But this is your chance to standout. Demonstrate your HUMAN side:

  • Client results
  • Personal stories
  • Business results
  • Lessons learned

Because here’s a secret:

→ 99% of LinkedIn creators do nothing in real life.

They spend 4 hours per day on LinkedIn. They’re not running a busy company.

If you can demonstrate that you’re a REAL human getting REAL results for REAL clients…you’re way ahead of the rest.

P.s. Don’t forget to make the posts useful. The reader should either:

  • Feel an emotion
  • Learn something
  • Connect with you
  • Shift their mindset

If your content doesn’t hit at least 2 of those criteria – don’t bother posting.

2. Send 15-20 connection requests per day

Send connection requests to people who:

  • Are prospects
  • Are active users
  • Are likely to engage

Here’s how you find this perfect connection:

  1. Go to a big creator in your niche
  2. See who liked their most recent post
  3. Connect with everyone who is your ideal client

If you do this consistently, you will:

  • Grow your following
  • Increase engagement
  • Stay in front of prospects

3. Be patient

It took me 6 months to get my first client on LinkedIn. There’s no overnight success here.

It takes a while to refine your message and build post engagement.

But if you’re ruthlessly consistent – it will pay off.

Remember that LinkedIn gets easier over time. You build momentum as your writing improves.
